Sentosa Island in Singapore

WELCOME TO SENTOSA !

If you are on a trip to Singapore, the one place that you surely cannot afford to miss is the Sentosa Island in Singapore. This fantastic island has something to offer to all its visitors. There are umpteen number of tourist attractions at the Sentosa Island in Singapore.

The Underwater World gives you the chance to see a large number of marine creatures like starfishes, sharks, sea dragons. It is indeed a very thrilling experience to walk through the long acrylic tunnel and visualize a variety of fishes moving smoothly and effortlessly over you.

WOW ! 'daddy, got a lot of fishes ! ' can you buy one for me ? or maybe, let me live insde ?

Underwater World Singapore, situated on Sentosa Island of Singapore, is a unique and well-known oceanarium showcasing some 2500 marine life from 250 species from around the regions and is extremely popular with all our visitors for providing fun, leisure and educational experiences. Since our opening in 1991, more than 20 million visitors have been won over by our exhibits. With our aim to provide every visitor with a unique fun filled experience,
Underwater World Singapore is actively involved in regular product renewal and program innovation.

At Underwater World Singapore, a 'voyage to the bottom of the sea' begins at the water’s edge, with shallow rock turtle and ray pools. Be greeted next by brightly colored corals and exotic ocean dwellers (including moray eels, sea dragons and jelly fishes) before you embark on a spectacular underwater journey through our 83-metre-long moving travelator with a tunnel housing the majestic rays, fearsome sharks, great shoals of other fishes and a host of other
creatures that inhabit the ocean depths. At the end of the underwater tunnel experience, do not miss out on the rare opportunity to exchange some playful glances with our graceful dugong, Gracie. Also look out for the latest themed exhibit in our changing exhibit hall on the first level. The current theme is the “Living Fossils” exhibiting various unique and amazing marine and freshwater creatures, whose ancestors appeared more than a few hundreds of millions years ago!

"pink dolphin ! will they bite ? no, they dont bite, they will KISS you (: "

At the Dolphin Lagoon within the Underwater World, you will be thoroughly entertained by the trained dolphins for one hour. If you are lucky enough, these intelligent creatures may even give a kiss on your cheeks.

Dolphin Lagoon provides a priceless meeting with the lovely Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins or commonly known as the pink dolphins. Special care was taken in the construction of the Dolphin Lagoon to stimulate a natural environment similar to the dolphin’s natural habitat. Gorgeous and endearing, these pink friends are always eager to make new friends. Visitors can enjoy close
proximity and be awed by their spectacular performances at our daily “Meet-the-Dolphins” sessions. Underwater World Singapore aims to increase public awareness and understanding of the dolphins in the hope of promoting the protection and conservation of these highly intelligent and endangered marine animals.

Admission: S$120/person (inclusive of admission to Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon) Advance booking is required. For more information or booking, please call (65) 6275 0030. Subject to availability of dates and timing.

SO MANY GUNS !? singapore go so many MACHINE GUN ! nope, this was all left behind during WWII

The Siloso Fort in Sentosa Island in Singapore is also a must see. This incidentally is Singapore's only preserved fort. Many guns of the British period, life size replicas of soldiers and even the clothes and utensils that they used have been kept in this fort. But what is most interesting is definitely the letter written by a soldier himself. It throws a great deal of light on the life of soldiers in general.

is this CHANGI AIRPORT ! ?
NO NO NO ! this is Carlsberg Tower at the Sentosa Island

The Carlsberg Tower at the Sentosa Island in Singapore offers great views of the surrounding areas of Singapore as well as of Thailand.
