This is a Malay cuisine that is highly popular with all races in Singapore. Satay is basically small pieces of meat skewered with a stick.
It is available in beef, mutton or chicken and served with a thick, sweet-hot peanut sauce on the side, with sliced cucumbers, onions, and pressed rice cakes for dipping.
